Homeroom
Keep tabs on updates
The Homeroom is your BensonsLife radar. When something happens in your Circle or any of your Communities, a post with a link to the update will display on your Homeroom. You also have the option of receiving an email notification. This way, you won’t miss a thing! And if you don’t want that kind of update, you can modify your notification settings on your Account Settings page.
Your Circle
The only BensonsLife members who will receive your personal updates
BensonsLife will automatically send a notification to your Circle when you have added something new, like pictures from a recent vacation. The ONLY people who are admitted to your Circle are those you personally invite; nobody else will be able to see your stuff.
Photo Gallery: Get pictures off your hard drive and share them with your Circle
Add pictures to you BensonsLife photo gallery so that they can be shared with family and friends in your Circle. Create dynamic photo albums based on the tags you assign to a picture, which makes it easy to categorize pictures into multiple albums.
Messaging Center: Be social, stay in touch
Send private messages through your message center to other BensonsLife members in your Circle.
Event Manager: Create events and coordinate guests
Invite members of your Circle to an event; let BensonsLife help you track RSVPs and send out updates. Best yet, BensonsLife will email a reminder to the entire guest list a day before the event. Sit back and relax while BensonsLife makes event planning a breeze.
Notes: Leave notes about milestones, pictures and profiles
Let others see what you have to say about something by leaving a note on a friend’s Noteboard or a picture in their gallery.
Community
As a member of BensonsLife, you’ll have unlimited access to all the Circle features as well as community-specific features that help groups stay organized online.

Calendar of Events
Invite everyone in the Community to an event; track RSVPs and send updates. BensonsLife sends a reminder via email to the guest list one day before the scheduled event. Easy!
Discussion Topics
Centralized discussion boards keep your Community’s announcements, thoughts, ideas, feedback and dialogue all in one place. Goodbye mass emails. Hello happiness.
Photo Gallery
Add pictures to the shared group gallery; create dynamic albums by tagging images; share pictures from a recent group outing or event.
Explore Communities
Create, browse and join groups in the BensonsLife Community. Organize around a shared interest, neighborhood, classroom, activity, team or club, or whatever else suits you!
Controls & Privacy
Community Privacy
Create a closed/private Community for a select group of people or an open/public Community for anybody to join. The Community moderator (creator) can decide if the Community is open-invite or invite-only.
Contribution Settings
Determine if the group allows open-contribution or if new content must go through the moderator. Community members may be able to contribute to the group space by adding pictures, events and discussion topics if the moderator has enabled sharing settings.
Screen Names
Your screen name will be used in the BensonsLife Communities when interacting with people outside your Circle. For instance, you may be in a group “Why we Love BensonsLife” – your screen name will be used instead of your real name when leaving comments, posting discussion topics, adding pictures, etc.
Account
Privacy & Security: Your information, your choice
We take our members’ privacy seriously. Your profile, personal pictures and events are never shared with anyone outside your Circle. Further, you choose what information you want shared and with whom you would like to share it.
In BensonsLife Communities environments (groups), your screen name will be used instead of your real name.
Flag Inappropriate Content: A self-regulating community
Keep the BensonsLife community safe and clean by flagging any content that violates the Terms of Use or Privacy Policy. We will review the flag and take the appropriate actions.
